Checkatrade, MyBuilder or your own website: what would each cost?
Directories and lead sites like Checkatrade and MyBuilder charge a membership or a fee for each lead. This puts what you pay beside the cost of owning your own website over the same time.
What would each cost you?
Put in what a directory charges you, or would, and see it beside your own website over the same time.
Put in what the directory charges to see both side by side.
Your website’s figures are our Simple site, £550 + VAT, with hosting at £20 a month + VAT after a free first year. We've used our Simple site because it does the job a directory profile does: it gets you found and contacted. Our bigger sites do more and cost more, so they aren't a like-for-like comparison. Directory prices change, so check theirs before you sign up.
It isn't about which is better: a directory can bring you leads, and a website needs to be found. Our guide to the choice goes into it.
